I touched a bass guitar for the first time on Feb 13, 2001. That was Timo's brother's old Guild Pilot. Since then I've gone totally mad and have acquired quite a lot of gear. Here is a list of the stuff I have. |
Fender Jazz Bass 1971, sunburst, serial #313589. No comments necessary.
Fender Precision Bass 1973, sunburst, serial #371143. This bass rocks! See it in action.
Gibson EB-0 1972, cherry, serial #627193, DiMarzio P-bass bridge pickups and two extra pots (custom addition). The short scale neck and tone are excellent for Crossroads and other Cream songs. Jack Bruce used an EB-0 on the original Sunshine of Your Love back in '68.
Rickenbacker 4003 2003, black, serial #0304196. The bass for Lemmy.
Ibanez AEB30 acoustic/electric bass guitar. Perfect for those camp fire moments when you all you really want do is to play the bass and sing Highway to Hell.
Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960, serial #034968. Maybe one day I'll learn how to play guitar too...
A spanish acoustic electric guitar called Veracruz. |
Ampeg SVT-AV head and an SVT-410HLF cabinet. 300 watts of classic all-tube bass power. Total weight only about 90kg.
Fender Blues Junior all-tube guitar amp.
Warwick Blue Cab 30 30W combo amplifier with a 12" speaker. It has the essential features for a practice amp, such as auxiliary inputs with a volume control and headphone output for those midnight practice sessions.
Fender Frontman 15B practice amp. Retired to summer cottage use exclusively.
Boss TU-2 chromatic tuner, GEB-7 bass equalizer, and ODB-3 bass overdrive.
BJF BlueBerry Bass Overdrive.
Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer.
Dunlop GCB-100 Bass Cry Baby modified for a 9V power supply. I have no idea what to do with it, but the guitar players also have Cry Babies, and it looks cool.
